To the Willowbank Staff,
We have read a story in the School Journal about Mohua the Kiwi who broke her beak. We have some questions that the article didn't answer and we were hoping you would be able to answer them for us.
1. How did Mohua break her beak? We are afraid it might have been broken in a trap.
2. Why did the park rangers call her Mohua? We know this is the name for the Yellowhead bird and wonder if it is something to do with that.
We are looking forward to hearing from you,
Love from Room 17
Now we are waiting for a reply - the hardest part of letter writing!
