Today we talked about the black thinking hat. It is the hat De Bono suggests to use when thinking about problems, things that might go wrong, when making judgements, thinking of negative aspects and possible mistakes.
We worked in small groups to discuss the drinking hat scenario and here are our great thoughts and ideas.
- People might go hypo because of the sugar
- You would get thirstier because there is something in fizzy that makes you thirsty
- Fizzy is not healthy for your body
- Teachers, Principal or BOT might get in trouble for putting it in place
- Children might get sick from it
- You wouldn’t be able to think clearly
- People will always be asking for drinks because they like them and miss learning time
- We could run out of drink
- People would get fat by drinking sweet drinks
- It would cost lots of money
- Ou uniforms might get stained
- The new fountain might cause problems with drains
- The ground around the fountain would be all sticky
- There would be problems with holes in childrens' teeth
