De Bono's Yellow Thinking Hat

Yellow is the colour that makes you think of bright things like a sun and smiley face and the yellow hat is about thinking of the advantages or good points in a situation.
Today we considered the following problem:

• You could see what is going on behind you. Ben, Emma, Liam
• You could eat and drink at the same time. Marika
• You could see what your arms are going to do. Ben
• You can look for two things at the same time. Caitlin
• You can see who is spying on you.
• If you don't like something you could feed it to the other side of the face.
• You will have a super sense of smell.
• You won't have to turn around as often.
• You can spy on people. Bella
• You can trick your Mum that you are asleep. Emma S
• You can swim and still be able to breathe. Bella
• If you are biking you can see cars going the other way. Lachlan
• You can check if any people are being naughty. Jesse
• You can help your Mum do cooking and watch TV at the same time. Oliver
• A ball won't hit you when you play soccer. Akki
• You can see traffic going both ways. Emily
• You can talk to two people at one time. Danielle
• You can play with a boy and play fetch with a dog at the same time.
• You can read and write at the same time.
