Reduce, Reuse, Recycle

Today we talked about the 3 Rs. We found we knew about recycling and reusing but that we didn't even know what reducing meant.

We each wrote on a piece of scrap paper one thing our family does to help save the world. Next we put the bits of paper under one of the Rs.

We were surprised just how much reducing we do! We reduce traffic and car pollution when we bike, bus, walk or scooter. We reduce the amount of water and electricity we use when we shower instead of having baths.
