Stiff Candles

We did some fitness and thinking all rolled into one today. It looked like there was a break in the weather so headed out for a game of Stiff Candles. Unfortunately it started to rain just as we got outside - that was our first problem to solve...
The hall was empty so we went in there. After playing for a few minutes we stopped and talked about what was working well and what wasn't. We then made modifications (changes) to see if we could solve the problems.
Problem: People were bumping into each other and charging around. This made some people feel nervous.
Modification: We made a rule that if you bumped into someone else you both had to become stiff candles.
Result: People slowed down and took more care about the way they were running. There were less collisions.

We think another way to solve this problem will be to use more space to play in. We couldn't do that in the hall so we're going to try that on the astro turf when the sun's shining.
